Hannah Pingree Enters Final Week with Strong Momentum and Statewide Get-Out-The-Vote Push

New television ad, final Maine’s Next Chapter tour stops, rallies in Portland and Rockport, and voter outreach highlight closing days before June 9 primary

MAINE — With just days remaining until the June 9 Democratic primary, the Hannah Pingree for Governor campaign is entering its final week with growing momentum, a new television advertisement featuring Governor Janet Mills, statewide get-out-the-vote events, and an aggressive voter outreach effort aimed at reaching voters in every corner of Maine.

After months of traveling the state, holding town halls, listening sessions, house parties, and community events, Hannah is spending the campaign’s final days focused on turning out supporters and sharing a clear closing message: Maine needs a governor who will stand up for our neighbors, deliver for working families on the challenges we face from affordable health care to housing, and never, ever back down from taking on Donald Trump.

NEW TV AD: “MOMENT”

The campaign released its closing television advertisement, “Moment.” The ad opens with Governor Mills speaking directly to voters: “Of all the candidates for Governor, there’s only one who can meet this moment — and that’s Hannah Pingree.”

Set against scenes from Hannah’s campaign across Maine, the ad highlights her commitment to protecting reproductive freedom, defending democracy and voting rights, and lowering costs for Maine families.

In the ad’s closing moments, Hannah delivers a direct message to voters: “Donald Trump is counting on governors who will give up and back down. I will never give up and I will never back down.”

MAINE’S NEXT CHAPTER TOUR WRAPS THIS WEEK

This week also marks the conclusion of Hannah’s Maine’s Next Chapter Town Hall and Happy Hour Tour, with final stops in Scarborough and Augusta, which has brought her to communities across the state to hear directly from Mainers about the challenges they face and the future they want to build.

The tour has drawn strong crowds and enthusiastic participation from volunteers and supporters, underscoring the energy surrounding the campaign as it heads into the final days before the primary. Ultimately, Hannah visited 15 communities across Maine for the tour, with 370+ events since her launch June 11, 2025.

FINAL WEEK SCHEDULE

For more than a year, and throughout her career in public service, Hannah has traveled Maine listening to voters and having conversations about the future of our state. Since launching her campaign, she has visited communities across Maine, completed a statewide housing tour, convened health care roundtables, and released detailed policy proposals shaped by what she heard from Mainers along the way. From town halls and house parties to community events and kitchen table conversations, this campaign has been built one conversation at a time, grounded in the belief that the best ideas come from listening to the people of Maine.

Now, with the June 9 primary just days away, Hannah is spending every day meeting voters, energizing supporters, and making sure every voice is heard before Election Day.
