MAINE — Hannah Pingree, former Speaker of the House and Democratic candidate for governor, announced the launch of her Maine’s Next Chapter Tour, a statewide sweep that has already brought community conversations to Bar Harbor and Alna, with stops planned in towns and cities across the state. The tour features a series of town halls, happy hours and house parties where Mainers can connect directly with her and share their vision for the state’s future. The tour is the latest chapter in a campaign built around direct engagement with Mainers, including her statewide Housing Tour and months of consistent grassroots outreach that have taken her to every corner of Maine.
“Maine has always been a place where people work hard, take care of their neighbors, and expect their leaders to do the same. That is the governor I will be,” said Hannah. “And right now that means standing up to the Trump Administration while charting a path for Maine’s future. This tour is an opportunity to hear directly from the people I will fight for every single day as governor.”

The announcement comes as Hannah becomes the first Democratic candidate in the race to go on air, launching her new television ad “Time.” It coincides with the rollout of her comprehensive Maine’s Next Chapter plans focused on affordability — from housing and health care to lowering property taxes and energy costs — and growing wages and economic opportunity in every corner of Maine.
Hannah’s campaign has earned endorsements from Speaker of the House Ryan Fecteau, more than 100 current and former elected officials, Maine Conservation Voters Action Fund, housing and health care leaders, fishing community advocates, and supporters across every region of Maine. Those endorsements — alongside packed community events, Town Halls, house parties, and listening sessions statewide — have fueled record volunteer engagement and growing momentum in every corner of the state in advance of the June 9th primary.
