Right now, Maine is facing big decisions about our economy, our future and how we prepare for what comes next. That’s why I’m supporting Hannah Pingree for governor. She understands the moment we’re in and has a proven record of turning challenges into opportunities for Maine communities.
Hannah Pingree knows affordability in Maine means being able to pay the bills and put food on the table. When Washington decided to make SNAP payments difficult last fall, Hannah was among those that advocated for the release of the funds so people, like me, can get paid on time.
Her plan prioritizes keeping healthcare access high and costs low for people. The other side of the aisle slashed Medicaid. I was terrified that I may lose my MaineCare. She understands that when healthcare and housing costs push people out of their towns, Maine loses more than neighbors; we lose workers, volunteers and neighbors who hold our communities together.
Voting for her is easy; Maine needs tough leaders. Hannah Pingree has spent nearly 25 years taking on the biggest challenges to protect Maine families, fight corporate greed, all the while bringing people together around solutions and getting things done. Bobby Charles is Trump 2.0 and does everything Trump tells him to do. Hannah’s fearless advocacy and proven record of standing up to powerful interests is exactly why Maine families can count on her to take on the Trump administration and fight for what matters most when she is elected governor.
