NORTH HAVEN, ME – Vote Mama PAC, the nation’s first and only PAC focused solely on electing, supporting, and mentoring Democratic moms, has endorsed Hannah Pingree in her campaign for governor of Maine.
“Serving in office as a mom has grounded me in what matters most, building a better future for Maine kids and families,” said Hannah. “I was pregnant when I finished my term as Speaker of the House, and now, with two (almost!) teenagers, I’m proud to be running for governor of Maine with the support of Vote Mama, an organization that knows when committed moms lead, families do better.”
Pingree, a former Speaker of the Maine House and Director of the Office of Policy Innovation and the Future, has a proven record of results. As a mother of two, she brings a parent’s perspective to leadership, shaping policies that address the real challenges and aspirations of working families. Her decades-long commitment to listening, showing up, and delivering for Maine people defines both her public service and her campaign for governor.
Hannah has a record of leading on issues that matter to children and families, from passing the nation leading “Kid Safe Products Act” to spearheading the state investment plan that created more than 4,850 new child care and pre-kindergarten slots in Maine.
Vote Mama PAC was founded in 2019 by former congressional candidate Liuba Grechen Shirley. Since then, the PAC has endorsed and supported hundreds of Democratic moms across the country, helping them overcome structural barriers to run and win public office.
